Job summary

F.N.B. Corporation’s Consumer and Commercial Banking Technology team invites a curious and motivated Technology System Analyst Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting banking applications for retail and business customers.

You will learn from experienced analysts and engineers about how technology drives regulatory compliance, customer experience, and operational efficiency in financial services. This paid internship targets IT/CS students and offers real project exposure.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, BIS or related field.
• Interest in financial services, FinTech and technology.
• Understanding of software lifecycle management and data concepts.
• Familiarity with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a secure, regulated environment with data privacy and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Document application workflows and system requirements for banking platforms.
• Shadow analysts during testing, configuration and deployment.
• Monitor application performance and report issues.
• Participate in team meetings and discuss technology improvements.
• Support data gathering and analysis for small projects.
• Learn basic troubleshooting under supervision.
• Contribute to documentation: use cases, guides, procedures.
