Job summary

UMB Bank in Montgomery, Alabama is hiring a Consumer Services Specialist to deliver an unparalleled customer experience by handling inbound service calls and building relationships with customers. You’ll access multiple systems to answer a variety of bank questions, provide information, resolve problems, and cross-sell appropriate products.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in English.
• 1-2 years customer service experience or similar.
• Knowledge of basic banking products (checking, debit, credit).
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and access client info.
• Understand privacy regulations and authenticate customers before discussing accounts.
• Able to learn and pass assessments/training certificates.
• Good phone/interpersonal skills with customers.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound service center calls and access multiple systems to answer bank-related questions, resolve problems, and cross-sell products.
• Continue learning skills through classroom training, online learning, and department communications.
• Meet performance metrics on call quality, talk time, cross-sell success, and competency demonstrations with monthly incentives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
