Job summary

The Bank of Tampa is seeking a Banking Support Specialist - Float to deliver exceptional client service across our offices and operations teams. This role supports teller and account functions, handles complex transactions, and serves as a subject‑matter expert for banking procedures and systems.

Travel to branches across Hillsborough, Pinellas and Manatee counties to provide coverage as needed. You will coach and mentor team members, assist with onboarding, and help maintain service standards,

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience as a teller or similar client-facing banking role.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and travel to multiple office locations.
• Demonstrated accuracy in cash handling and transaction processing.

Responsibilities

• Travel to The Bank of Tampa locations across the region to provide coverage per business need.
• Deliver exceptional client service through professional interactions.
• Perform complex servicing transactions including account maintenance and documentation support.
• Maintain knowledge of banking products, services, systems and procedures.
• Balance cash drawer daily and adhere to cash-handling procedures.
• Verify client identity and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Provide guidance to team members on account opening and referral best practices.
• Support training, onboarding, and knowledge sharing within the office.
