Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of banking experience in new accounts, teller, or lending.
• At least six months of cash handling experience.
• Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to type, use a computer efficiently, and use a 10-key calculator.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to handle large quantities of currency with accuracy.
• Good problem-solving skills, solid decision-making and effective communication.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work activities.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and at least stand for most of the workday.

Responsibilities

• Provide both Teller and New Account services to customers.
• Open and close personal and commercial accounts; maintain accounts.
• Process teller transactions: deposits, withdrawals, transfers, checks, balancing cash drawer.
• Answer customer questions and resolve related account problems.
• Cross-sell Bank products and services where appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with bank policies and procedures.
