Job summary

Central Penn Bank & Trust is seeking a teller who combines financial transactions with account openings and strong customer service. You will handle deposits, cash checks, and process routine transactions while assisting customers with questions and account setup.

The role requires basic math, strong communication, and the ability to operate office equipment. Prior banking experience is a plus, and physical stamina to lift coins is needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Moderate reading, writing, and grammar skills; proficient analytical and mathematics skills.
• Proficient communicative and interpersonal relations skills; demonstrated problem-solving aptitude.
• Proficient eye-hand coordination; moderate computer skills; moderate typing and word processing skills.
• Ability to operate a variety of office equipment; ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach and lift approximately fifty (50) lbs. of coin.
• Visual and auditory skills.
• Experience: Minimum two (2) years’ experience in related banking position preferred, but not required.
