Job summary

Central Penn Bank & Trust is seeking a part-time teller to assist customers with deposits, withdrawals and payments at our community office. You will greet customers, verify transactions and balance the cash drawer daily.

The role requires a high school diploma, good math and typing skills, and the ability to operate standard office equipment. Prior banking experience is preferred and physical ability to lift coins up to 50 lbs may be needed.

Qualifications

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Skills: Moderate reading, writing, and grammar; strong analytical and math abilities; good interpersonal skills; problem-solving aptitude; basic computer skills; typing and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Greets and serves customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Accepts deposits, loan payments, and utility bill payments.
• Cashes checks within approved authority and policy.
• Processes night deposits and mail deposits.
• Prepares currency and BSA reports; balances cash drawer daily.
• May balance and service ATM machines.
