Job summary

Marion-Center-Bank is seeking a Teller to support paying and receiving functions at the assigned branch. You will greet customers, process deposits and withdrawals, and help with account changes while maintaining accuracy in cash handling.

Responsibilities include balancing cash drawers, identifying suspicious activity, and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth branch operations. High school diploma required; previous cash handling experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education/Training: A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Skill: Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience: Cash handling experience.
• Ability to operate office machines and lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with transactions and account changes.
• Maintain cash drawer balance and daily settlement.
• Accept deposits, cash checks, and process payments.
• Provide product guidance and cross-sell banking services.
• Observe and report suspicious activity.
• Coordinate workflow with branch and other departments.
• Open/close safe deposit boxes and manage vault procedures.
