Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ years of public contact or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal/verbal communications skills.
• Ability to use applicable software and operation branch automation systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary customer contact for account openings, maintenance, and problem resolutions.
• Receive checks and cash for deposits, verify amounts, and enter deposits into records.
• Cash checks and process withdrawals after verification of signatures and balances.
• Process mortgage, consumer loan, and other payments; ensure balances match payments.
• Balance cash drawer and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Promote and sell bank products and services including checking, savings, CDs, debit, online banking, and loans.
• Refer customers to other financial products and services where appropriate.
• Participate in branch and bank sales, service, and product training meetings.
