Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard banking software.
• Knowledge of federal and state banking regulations, including BSA/AML/CIP/OFAC.
• Ability to open and maintain accounts and handle deposits/withdrawals.
• Familiarity with branch automation systems.
• Willingness to participate in mandatory compliance training.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for new account openings, account maintenance requests, and problem resolutions.
• Receive deposits, verify amounts, examine checks for endorsement, enter deposits into records, and place holds on funds.
• Cash checks and process withdrawals with verification of signatures and balances.
• Receive and process mortgage, consumer loan, and other payments, ensuring they match balances due.
• Check night depository bags and record information on forms.
• Balance cash drawer and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Promote and refer bank products and services to customers, including HELOCs, IRAs, mortgages, investments, and treasury services.
• Participate in branch sales, service, and product training meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information and comply with regulations.
