Job summary

Marion Center Bank is seeking a teller to support the paying and receiving functions at the assigned branch. You will greet customers, process deposits and withdrawals, balance cash and related equipment, and educate customers on banking products and services.

You will coordinate with supervisors and other departments, report pertinent information, and maintain accuracy in cash handling and daily settlement procedures. Prior cash handling experience is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Moderate sales skills and PC skills; knowledge of banking products and services.

Responsibilities

• Support paying and receiving function at the branch; coordinate work within the office and with other departments.
• Greet customers, assist with transactions, and respond to inquiries.
• Balance cash drawer; process deposits, withdrawals, and related transactions.
• Educate customers on product selections and services; balance and reconcile cash equipment.
