D.L. Evans Bank in Burley, Idaho is seeking a Teller/Financial Services Representative to open and close accounts, process deposits and withdrawals, and assist customers with banking needs.

You will balance daily transactions and provide friendly, professional service. This role includes cross-selling bank services, supporting branch operations across the Mini-Cassia area, and handling various paying and receiving functions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Banking experience preferred.
• Basic cash handling skills/experience preferred.
• Knowledge of bank operations policies and procedures preferred.
• Able to operate related computer applications and business equipment.
• Professional appearance, dress, and attitude.
• Good communication skills.
• Good typing skills.
• Good math skills.

Responsibilities

• Represents the Bank in a courteous and professional manner.
• Receives deposits and loan payments in person or by mail.
• Processes cash advances, gift/travel cards, cashiers’ checks, government bonds, and similar transactions.
• Disburses cash for checks/withdrawals and pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.
• Processes transfers and end-of-day balances.
• Verifies transactions, monitors deposits, examines documents for endorsements, resolves discrepancies.
• Maintains security of the work area and cash drawers when leaving.
