Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two or more years of experience in bank operations, new accounts, or credit/loan positions.
• Banking knowledge including cards, deposits and loan products.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and interview them to explain services and online banking options.
• Discuss account limits, requirements or fees and refer to other bank areas as needed.
• Promote cross-selling and new products; assist with deposits and opening accounts.
• Process checks, debit cards, and order checks; handle safe deposit boxes as needed.
• Maintain confidential client information and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Assist customers with consumer loans and complete related forms.
• Complete Chex verification and handle inquiries in person or by phone.
• Travel to other branches for coverage when required.
• Participate in CRA activities and other duties as assigned.
