Job summary

The Bank & Trust in Texas seeks a Universal Banker to deliver comprehensive banking services as a teller and personal banker. You will open and manage accounts, process transactions, and provide personalized financial guidance while building strong customer relationships.

Join a full-time team that emphasizes customer service, accuracy, and compliance with banking regulations. Requires at least one year of cash handling or customer service experience; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus;

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year in customer service and/or cash handling.
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and Teams.
• Basic math skills and ability to perform calculations accurately.
• Ability to read, count, and handle money with precision.
• Typing and 10-key by touch required.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Open new accounts and service existing ones, cross-sell banking products.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other transactions accurately.
• Balance cash drawer daily and address discrepancies.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build relationships.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations including BSA-AML.
