Responsibilities

• Cashes checks and disburses funds after verifying signatures and sufficiency of funds to support withdrawals.
• Accepts deposits, confirming accuracy of transaction.
• Evaluates checks to verify endorsements, dates, identification of recipients, bank names, and legality of documents.
• Prepares, verifies, and issues cashier’s checks, bank money orders, etc.
• Balances all monies in cash drawers at end of shifts and counts cash inventory.
• Conducts all credit and debit transactions accurately, adhering to regulatory requirements including CTRs.
• Maintains a secure, clean, and compliant teller area with proper cash supply.
• Verifies Night Depository envelopes and logs; maintains transaction records.
• Provides customer service, opens accounts, cross-sells products, profiles clients for needs, and makes referrals.
• Explains product benefits, restrictions, and requirements to clients.
• Cross-sells to other lines of business and participates in onboarding campaigns.
