Job summary

Carter Bank in Virginia is seeking a Financial Services Representative to be the first point of contact for customers, guiding them through everyday transactions and banking needs with a proactive, personalized touch.

You will help customers with products, open accounts, and route referrals to partners while delivering an exceptional experience, meeting sales goals, and participating in branch events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college a plus.
• Customer service and/or sales experience required.
• Prior cash handling experience preferred.
• Experience in retail banking or related industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process a range of customer services including transactions and account servicing.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences through proactive engagement.
• Identify customer needs and generate referrals to partners.
• Resolve basic account issues using banking resources and escalate when needed.
• Support efficient branch operations by following processes and compliance.
