Job summary

FirstBank PR is seeking a Sales & Service Representative to promote and sell banking products and deliver personalized customer service in Puerto Rico. You will identify potential customers, build relationships, and ensure compliance with banking policies and laws.

The role requires 1–2 years in customer service, banking knowledge, and strong communication; bilingual ability is a plus. The position supports branch sales goals and daily operations, with some administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• One to two years of experience in customer orientation and knowledge of banking products and services.
• A minimum of 24 credits toward an associate or bachelor’s degree, or coursework related to banking, is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of banking laws and regulations such as Know Your Customer and Bank Secrecy Act.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Fully bilingual, preferable.
• Sales, customer service and presentation skills are a must.

Responsibilities

• Promotes, refers and sells bank products and services to potential and existing customers, meeting business goals and objectives.
• Identifies and prospect potential customers within the market pace and bank through cross-sell activities or marketplace visits.
• Establishes and develops product and service relationships with customers addressing their financial needs.
• Performs service requests and inquiries within bank service and operational standards.
• Supports branch sales and administrative tasks as requested.
