Job summary

1stnb is seeking a front-line teller to join our branch network. You will handle cash, deposits, and routine transactions while delivering friendly service to a diverse customer base, including Spanish speakers.

Under supervision, you’ll meet monthly targets for new accounts and cross-sell bank products, adhering to policies and maintaining accuracy in balancing daily operations. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must pass background check per company policy.
• Must be able to get along with coworkers and work effectively in a team environment.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in a high-volume sales environment.
• Evaluate customer relationships and promote bank products and services.
• Follow bank policies and supervisor directions.
• Achieve monthly new account production as assigned by management.
• Participate in an active sales environment including in-store prospecting.
• Process deposits and pay out funds with accurate balance of daily operations.
• Receive cash/checks, verify amounts, and issue receipts.
• Sell and prepare money orders, cashier's checks, wires, and CDs.
• Cross-sell bank services to a diverse customer base, including Spanish speakers.
