Job summary

Citi in San Jose, CA seeks an entry level Personal Banker SAFE Act to assist in sales and service activities, building customer loyalty and increasing sales to individual clients. You will coordinate with the customer service team and support branch staff in product referrals and cross-sell opportunities.

Responsibilities include handling small business opportunities, coaching staff, and promoting digital channels while ensuring compliance with Citi policies and risk controls.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant experience in banking, retail or sales.
• NMLS registration and Safe Act compliance required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with business credit requests under $250K and refer larger opportunities.
• Cross-sell treasury and related small business products.
• Develop referral opportunities through COIs and MGM programs.
• Provide client services and outbound/inbound calls to grow relationships.
• Coach branch staff on products and identify customer needs for referrals.
• Educate clients on service channels, digital tools and product offers.
