Tech Mahindra is seeking a Quality Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for online banking applications. The role emphasizes UI and API automation using Playwright and Karate, ensuring comprehensive test coverage of critical banking journeys.

Qualifications

• Design, develop and maintain automated test suites for online banking applications.
• Develop UI and end-to-end automation using Playwright.
• Develop REST API automation using Karate Framework.
• Automate critical banking journeys such as login, account management, fund transfers, payments and transaction workflows.
• Create reusable automation components and maintain scalable test frameworks.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, UI and API testing.
• Validate frontend-to-backend workflows across banking systems.
• Execute automated suites as part of CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze automation failures, identify defects and perform root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts and product teams to understand banking requirements and define test coverage.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, defect triage and release-quality activities.
• Ensure automation coverage for secure, business-critical banking transactions.
