Job summary

Bounteous is seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer specializing in Playwright to join our Banking & KYC initiative. You will design and implement automated test suites for Client Onboarding workflows, API validations, and data integration across multiple systems.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of QA/testing, hands-on Playwright with Java, strong SQL skills, and experience in CI/CD environments. This remote US role requires collaboration with developers, BAs, and product teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA/testing experience.
• Hands-on Playwright automation.
• Strong Java programming experience.
• Experience building UI automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of POM, locators, assertions, waits, browser contexts, parallel execution, test data management.
• Experience with REST API testing (Postman/REST Assured).
• SQL knowledge and database validation.
• Git and CI/CD (GitLab) usage.
• Ability to troubleshoot flaky tests.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Playwright test suites.
• Develop automation frameworks with Java + Playwright.
• Automate end-to-end Client Onboarding and KYC workflows.
• Perform functional, regression, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Translate business requirements into test scenarios.
• Validate data movement across systems.
• Perform SQL database validations.
• Execute tests via CI/CD pipelines and analyze failures.
• Collaborate with developers, BAs, product owners, QA team.
