Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting/Finance professional to manage daily reserves, bank balances, and wire transfers for multiple institutions. The role entails processing payments with FHLB, handling foreign item processing, and completing monthly reconciliations.

The candidate should have strong planning, problem-solving, and communication skills, plus proficiency in MS Office and experience with CSI or BankTel. Associate degree in accounting or finance preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine daily position with the Federal Reserve Bank and United Bankers Bank; purchase or sell funds to maintain reserves.
• Maintain appropriate balances in correspondent bank accounts to avoid overdrafts; handle daily/monthly principal and interest payments with FHLB on advances.
• Process incoming and outgoing wire transfers; export previous days’ wires and upload to accounting system.
• Order currency for branches and ship excess from Titan back to Federal Reserve as needed.
• Balance GL interface reports daily and research outages as necessary.
• Process Canadian and foreign items through Correspondent; complete monthly reconciliations and clear stale items.
• Enter, update, and retrieve accounting data from automated systems; generate internal system reports.
• Complete additional tasks, projects, and reports as assigned.
