Qualifications

• Current CMU student pursuing a business/finance degree.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team or independently.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of financial concepts preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Previous customer service or administrative experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general administrative and clerical tasks, including data entry, filing, and document preparation.
• Support customer service activities, such as answering basic customer inquiries and assisting with account-related tasks.
• Assist in resolving customer concerns by escalating issues to the appropriate team and ensuring follow-up.
• Assist customers at the Timberline Community Coffee bar.
• Participate in projects related to financial analysis, operations, risk management, or other areas as assigned.
• Help maintain accurate customer records and assist in processing transactions where applicable.
• Conduct research and compile reports on various banking products, services, or industry trends.
• Assist in the preparation of presentations and internal communications.
• Learn about compliance regulations and procedures within the banking sector.
• Collaborate with team members on day-to-day operations and contribute to department-specific tasks as needed.
• Duties may be expanded on as experience and professional goals are achieved.
