Job summary

Westamerica Bank is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to support branch personnel with questions on financial products and New Account procedures. The role requires reviewing legal documents for non-personal accounts and guiding staff in opening accounts.

Experience in a financial institution and solid PC software knowledge are desirable, with strong written and verbal communication and a detail-oriented, organized approach to deadlines.

Qualifications

• Incumbent should have prior work experience, preferably in a financial institution.
• Knowledge of basic PC operating systems and software packages is desirable.
• Applicant should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be detail oriented, organized and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist branch personnel with questions regarding the Bank's financial products, New Account policy and procedures, SalesLogix, Lotus Notes and Safebox.
• Review legal documentation for all non-personal accounts and help guide branch staff in opening accounts.
• Previous work experience preferred, ideally within a financial institution.
