Job summary

Westamerica Bank is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to support branch personnel with questions on financial products and New Account procedures. The role requires reviewing legal documents for non-personal accounts and guiding staff in opening accounts.

Experience in a financial institution and solid PC software knowledge are desirable, with strong written and verbal communication and a detail-oriented, organized approach to deadlines.

Qualifications

As a Help Desk Specialist, under general supervision, assist branch personnel with questions regarding the Bank's financial products, New Account policy and procedures, SalesLogix, Lotus Notes and Safebox.

Incumbent will also review legal documentation for all non-personal accounts and help guide branch staff in opening accounts.

Previous work experience required, preferably within a financial institution. Knowledge of basic PC operational systems and software packages is desirable.

Applicant should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, be detail oriented, organized and have the ability to meet deadlines within specific time constraints.
