Job summary

Masis Professional Group, in partnership with a local law firm in Fort Wayne, IN, seeks a Banking and Finance Attorney to advise financial institutions and lenders in complex matters.

The ideal candidate will hold a JD, be licensed in Indiana, and have 4+ years of banking, finance, and bankruptcy experience, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Indiana.
• 4+ years of experience in banking, finance, and bankruptcy law.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. banking, finance, and bankruptcy laws and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel and representation to financial institutions, creditors, and clients in banking, finance, and bankruptcy matters.
• Draft and review loan agreements, security agreements, and other financial documents.
• Represent clients in bankruptcy court and other legal proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in banking, finance, and bankruptcy laws and regulations.
