Job summary

NBT Bank is seeking a Contact Center Agent I to research, troubleshoot and resolve customer inquiries across deposit and loan accounts. You will provide product information, complete account maintenance and monetary transactions while delivering a positive customer experience and reinforcing the NBT brand.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associates Degree preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; active listening; patient, empathetic attitude.
• Must be able to work flexible hours; requires Saturday hours.

Responsibilities

• 55% Resolve consumer inquiries via one customer support channel; gather information, provide account/product details, guide through basic troubleshooting.
• 20% Create a positive customer experience and achieve satisfaction scores.
• 10% Complete account/product maintenance and monetary transactions.
• 10% Ensure adherence to security measures, policies and procedures.
• 5% Other duties as assigned.
