Bar Harbor Bank & Trust in West Lebanon, NH is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of the bank for our customers. You will assist clients with day-to-day financial needs, open and service accounts, process transactions, and refer customers to loan, investment, and insurance offerings to help them reach their goals.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-centric mindset, and enjoy a fast-paced, team environment.

Qualifications

• Assist customers with identifying financial needs and refer to additional products and services.
• Promote loans, trusts, investments, insurance and other services offered by the bank.
• Understand banking products and contribute toward branch goals in deposits and loans.
• Build trusted relationships with community members.

• Process transactions promptly and professionally.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve inquiries.
• An interest and experience in customer service and a working knowledge of Windows are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in identifying their financial needs and contribute toward the success of the company by recommending additional products and services.
• Recognize and seize opportunities to make referrals for loans, trusts, investments, insurance, and other exceptional services offered by the bank.
• Gain an understanding of the banking industry and begin to contribute toward meeting branch goals in a variety of categories, including deposits and loans.
• Build trusting relationships with individuals in the communities we serve.
• Be an active participant in, and advocate for, community growth and prosperity.
• Process transactions for customers in a prompt, efficient, courteous and professional manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service, reach effective resolutions, and follow through with customers for all inquiries.
• This role focuses on obtaining general banking knowledge and mastering routine transactions, to include account opening.
