Job summary

Tompkins Bank & Trust is seeking a care center associate to answer general inbound calls, handling routine requests across Retail Banking, Debit Cards, Digital Banking and Business Banking. You will follow scripts and use available tools to deliver accurate information.

With at least one year in banking or customer service, you will strive for exceptional service, meet call targets, and may participate in cross-selling while rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year banking or related customer service experience.
• Proficient reading, writing, grammar and mathematics; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Assertive with effective verbal and written communication; able to influence others.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls in a timely manner across a multi-bank environment.
• Process service requests across Retail Banking, Debit Cards, Digital Banking and Business Banking; handle routine calls.
• Promote a best-in-class customer experience for internal and external customers.
