Job summary

Ion Bank is seeking a Customer Consultant 1 to deliver the Bank’s products and services to customers, maximize profitability, and uphold Ion’s service standards of safety, accuracy, responsiveness, and friendly, personalized service.

You will perform financial transactions, stay current on policies and regulations, and refer customers to Investment, Insurance and Lending teams to support their financial planning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 1 year banking experience plus 2 years of sales/customer service experience or an equivalent combination.
• Familiarity with financial terminology, banking systems, and payment delivery options is essential.
• Strong customer-service orientation and product referral skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend work as scheduled and maintain bank service standards.
• Provide high-quality customer service and project a professional image.
• Make product referrals to Investment, Insurance and Lending teams when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records of customer contacts and transactions for reports.
• Identify and report fraudulent or suspicious activity to security.
