Job summary

CSIweb in the United States is seeking a detail-oriented IT Implementation Specialist to manage customer communications and project coordination during bank software conversions. You will support data conversion, software installation, troubleshooting, and go-live activities, coordinating with bank leadership, vendors, and CSI teams.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years IT support experience, an associate degree or equivalent, strong communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in IT, technical support, implementation, or related roles.
• Associate degree or technical certification or equivalent experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Customer-service mindset with relationship-building skills.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact for assigned implementation projects.
• Communicate with bank leadership, end users, vendors, core providers, and CSI teams.
• Coordinate milestones, activities, and customer expectations throughout the conversion.
• Gather and document customer requirements and project information.
• Report project risks, status updates, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal partners.
• Coordinate resources and escalate issues requiring additional expertise.
• Coordinate with institutions and core providers for data files.
• Manage file transfer via FTP and secure methods.
• Track deliverables and ensure files are received on schedule.
• Support planning, execution, and validation of conversions.
• Configure test-bank environments for testing and validation.
• Set up users, permissions, and system access in testing/production.
• Identify and elevate conversion issues.
• Install, configure, and support NuPoint software and related apps.
• Assist with hardware and workstation installations.
• Configure software and environments per project.
• Validate functionality prior to testing.
• Coordinate with engineering, support, and infrastructure teams.
• Maintain knowledge of CSI products and implementation processes.
• Troubleshoot issues during implementations and conversions.
• Perform first-level triage and route to resolutions.
• Work with NetOps, SecOps, MSPs, and vendors to resolve issues.
• Support customers during testing, go-live, and hyper-care.
• Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams.
• Help ensure a stable customer environment during implementation.
• Deliver training and knowledge-transfer sessions.
• Coordinate transitions to CSI support teams after go-live.
• Ensure customers are prepared to operate their new environment.
