Job summary

BankWest - South Dakota is seeking a Frontline Banker to greet customers, assess their banking needs, and serve as the single point of contact for transactions in the lobby or drive‑through.

You will handle deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and check processing, open and close accounts, and refer Bank products. A high school diploma is required, ABA Universal Banker Certification, and prior customer service experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• ABA Universal Banker Certification Program is required.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and determine their banking needs, acting as the single point of contact for transactions.
• Process customer transactions accurately through lobby, drive-up, or telephone (deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier checks, checks, wire transfers, ACH).
• Support completion of transactions with tasks like night deposits, ATM servicing, and teller balancing.
• Provide customer service, account maintenance, problem-solve, and perform funds transfers and debits/credits as needed.
• Open and close personal and business accounts; identify additional banking services to refer.
• Identify customer needs for additional products and services and refer accordingly.
• Grow customer relationships through referrals beyond the bank.
