Owen County State Bank seeks a Universal Banker to help customers reach financial goals by handling deposits, withdrawals, and financial guidance. You will process routine transactions, assist with loan payments, and support customers with account services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain registration with the national Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS).
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledge of basic computer operation and data entry.
• Ability to operate a variety of automated and standard office equipment.
• One-year related experience in retail banking and/or sales preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accept deposits and process routine banking transactions, including loan payments.
• Redeem savings bonds, sell money orders and cashier checks, and prepare cash transaction reports.
• Assist customers with questions, balance teller drawers, and handle night deposits and mail deposits.
• Open/close vaults, secure safe deposit boxes, and manage cash handling procedures.
• Cross-sell bank products and services and assist with account opening/closing and transfers.
