We are currently ready to hire a friendly, experienced Sales Associate/Customer Service Team Leader who enjoys delivering 100% customer satisfaction!
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly manner as they enter the store, provide fast and efficient service, and thank them.
- Ring customer sales using an electronic cash register, receive money, give correct change, and process refunds or exchanges.
- Assist with shift change by counting money in the cash drawer at the beginning and end of a shift.
- Use special equipment to process specialty products such as money orders, credit card purchases, checks, and lottery sales and redemptions.
- Check identification for restricted sales.
- Check and replenish stock of food service supplies like cups, lids, condiments, napkins, straws, and stirrers.
- Clean and sanitize all equipment used for service or stocking food service products using the three sink method.
- Clean all areas, including countertops, microwaves, shelves, floors, windows, cooler doors, food service equipment, restrooms, and parking lots, using proper procedures and materials.
- Empty trash containers and clean all areas regularly.
- Stock shelves and coolers, rotate stock, and remove damaged or expired merchandise, pricing items according to the price book.
- Check in vendor deliveries as needed following company guidelines.
- Complete bad merchandise forms and order merchandise as necessary.
- Use current training materials and complete all training evaluations and documentation.
- Provide feedback to management on training programs and materials.
- Monitor cash levels and security procedures during shifts to ensure compliance.
- Review job assignments for completeness.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support store operations.
Qualifications
- Be 18 years or older in AR, CT, FL, LA, MI, MA, MS, MO, NC, SC, TX, TN, AZ, and CO; or 21 years or older in other states.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
- Ability to lift 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a car or other motorized vehicle.
- Liability insurance on the vehicle.
