We are currently ready to hire a friendly, experienced Sales Associate/Customer Service Team Leader who enjoys delivering 100% customer satisfaction!

Responsibilities

1. Greet customers in a friendly manner as they enter the store, provide fast and efficient service, and thank them.
2. Ring customer sales using an electronic cash register, receive money, give correct change, and process refunds or exchanges.
3. Assist with shift change by counting money in the cash drawer at the beginning and end of a shift.
4. Use special equipment to process specialty products such as money orders, credit card purchases, checks, and lottery sales and redemptions.
5. Check identification for restricted sales.
6. Check and replenish stock of food service supplies like cups, lids, condiments, napkins, straws, and stirrers.
7. Clean and sanitize all equipment used for service or stocking food service products using the three sink method.
8. Clean all areas, including countertops, microwaves, shelves, floors, windows, cooler doors, food service equipment, restrooms, and parking lots, using proper procedures and materials.
9. Empty trash containers and clean all areas regularly.
10. Stock shelves and coolers, rotate stock, and remove damaged or expired merchandise, pricing items according to the price book.
11. Check in vendor deliveries as needed following company guidelines.
12. Complete bad merchandise forms and order merchandise as necessary.
13. Use current training materials and complete all training evaluations and documentation.
14. Provide feedback to management on training programs and materials.
15. Monitor cash levels and security procedures during shifts to ensure compliance.
16. Review job assignments for completeness.
17. Perform other duties as assigned to support store operations.

Qualifications

1. Be 18 years or older in AR, CT, FL, LA, MI, MA, MS, MO, NC, SC, TX, TN, AZ, and CO; or 21 years or older in other states.
2. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
3. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
4. Ability to lift 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
5. Valid Driver’s License and access to a car or other motorized vehicle.
6. Liability insurance on the vehicle.
