Job summary

Lowell Five Bank is seeking a customer-focused, on-site Retail Banking Associate to process transactions, balance cash, and deliver outstanding service at branches across the Merrimack Valley region. You will deepen product knowledge and help customers with deposits, loans, and accounts while supporting digital banking needs.

The role emphasizes accuracy, strong communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team, with flexibility in schedule and location as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cash handling and customer service experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Customer focus with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Strong oral communication skills with the ability to be concise, clear, and consistent.
• Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to change.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
• Flexibility in work schedule and at times, location.
• May require the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies weighing up to approximately 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions and payments in lobby or drive-thru; maintain confidentiality.
• Balance cash drawer and assist in vault and ATM as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues; escalate when appropriate.
• Educate customers about Bank products and services and meet retention goals.
• Assist in branch quality control and provide digital support to customers.
• Support training of new staff and use CRM (Salesforce) as needed.
