Summary

The Banking Center Manager (BCM) is an enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic responsible for managing the banking center’s growth and daily operations. The BCM executes strategic objectives and creates local tactics to maximize productivity and employee development. They develop and manage monthly action plans to enhance sales of all bank products and services, leading by example, coaching, motivating, and developing their team to reach full potential.

Essential Duties

  • Provides a welcoming environment and communicates professionally and confidently with the team during daily huddles, coaching sessions, monthly meetings, and presentations.
  • Displays a passion for serving others and coaches the team to provide exceptional service.
  • Uses strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve or identify financial solutions for customers.
  • Manages the banking center lobby activities, teller operations, including audit, compliance, risk, sales, service, opening/closing, and facility upkeep.
  • Handles hiring, coaching/counseling, and evaluates team members to support their career growth.
  • Manages the banking center portfolio, deepens client relationships through cross-selling, and develops strategies to close performance gaps.
  • Provides customer service including opening deposit accounts, consumer and small business loans (if applicable), credit cards, and cross-selling bank products/services.
  • Ensures targets for loan and deposit growth, past dues, delinquency ratios, and charge-offs are met.
  • Contributes to meeting the banking center’s goals and individual sales/referral goals through cross-selling and referrals to bank partners for complex financial needs.
  • Engages in community activities to increase visibility and business opportunities.
  • Manages time effectively to meet responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Participates in training programs and maintains knowledge of risk controls, laws, and regulations, ensuring compliance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in sales, marketing, or operations; banking experience preferred.
  • Cash handling and teller experience preferred.
  • 5 years banking experience or 3 years at Lone Star National Bank; prior management experience required.
  • Ability to learn new information and technology platforms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Flexible hours and community travel required.

Organization

  • Reports to the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Oversees all staff at the assigned banking center.

Training & Community Involvement
