Job summary

First Mid Bancshares, Inc. is seeking a customer service oriented professional to join our branch team. This role focuses on delivering accurate transactions, welcoming customers, and handling daily banking duties in a compliant, friendly environment.

You will participate in sales efforts, open accounts, resolve issues promptly, and contribute to our Total Rewards program including healthcare, PTO, and bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of customer service and cash handling experience preferred.
• Successful completion of required compliance and training curriculum for account opening.

Responsibilities

• Create a quality service experience by ensuring timely resolution to customer needs and overall customer satisfaction.
• Abides by company service standards, including greeting customers and making them feel welcome to First Mid Bank & Trust
• Proficiently service customers by accepting and processing transactions with accuracy and efficiency within policy guidelines.
• Perform daily balancing procedures and assist with daily operational branch duties.
• Open accounts including checking, savings, and basic business accounts.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell products and make referrals to appropriate business lines.
• Contribute to branch promotions and promotional activities.
