Bank of Utah in Sandy, UT is seeking a Banking Associate II to join our Sandy Branch team. Working Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM to 5:45 PM, you will serve as a trusted advisor, opening and servicing accounts and delivering personalized financial solutions.

This role requires 1+ year banking experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle non-routine transactions with guidance. You will deepen client relationships, ensure compliant operations, and support branch success under

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year banking or financial services experience.
• Ability to handle non-routine transactions with guidance.
• Strong attention to detail and accountability.
• Understanding of bank operations, revenue and risk.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Open and maintain consumer and business accounts.
• Identify suitable banking products for clients.
• Provide consultative solutions to client needs.
• Exercise risk-based decision-making with clients.
• Set expectations and follow through on commitments.
• Manage a deposit book and grow relationships.
• Ensure product setup and onboarding is efficient.
• Resolve account exceptions with timely follow-up.
• Escalate fraud or risk indicators as needed.
• Mentor Banking Associates and support team development.
