Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in balancing with keen attention to detail.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using CSI or BankTel is a plus.
• Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine daily position with the Federal Reserve Bank and United Bankers Bank; purchase or sell funds to maintain reserves.
• Maintain appropriate balances in correspondent bank accounts; handle daily and monthly payments to FHLB.
• Process incoming and outgoing wire transfers; export previous days’ wires and upload to accounting system.
• Order currency for branches and manage excess cash transfers.
• Clear Non-post items.
• Balance GL interface reports daily and research outages as needed.
