Job summary

First Bank in Iron Mountain, MI is seeking a Teller to assist customers with routine financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and cashier’s checks, while delivering friendly, efficient service at the counter and drive-thru. You will greet customers, answer phones and route requests to the appropriate department.

Daily duties include balancing the cash drawer, maintaining records, processing branch tasks, and handling basic account maintenance.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and numeric skills required.
• Experience working with customers or the public preferred.
• Ability to explain bank products and services.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct customers and answer phones as instructed.
• Execute basic transactions (withdrawals, deposits, loan payments, cashier’s checks).
• Process nights drops, drop-offs and mail.
• Keep teller area organized and supplies stocked for front line and drive-thru services.
• Maintain accurate records, balance daily, and account for cash drawer.
• Process Branch Capture work and make adjustments as needed.
• Perform general account maintenance and order forms as needed.
• Complete forms and applications (e.g., stop pays, disputes, debit card applications).
• Comply with BSA requirements and complete mandatory training.
