Job summary

Mountain West Bank is hiring Bank Tellers to support Coeur d'Alene, Post Falls and Hayden locations. You will handle deposits, withdrawals, and basic customer inquiries while maintaining accuracy and compliance. This full-time, hourly role offers comprehensive benefits and training.

Ideal candidates have a customer-first mindset, strong communication skills, and are available weekdays with some Saturday hours. Training and opportunities for growth are provided within the bank's Idaho footprint.

Qualifications

6 months of prior customer service experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent technology acuity and computer systems knowledge.
Ability to efficiently use multiple computer programs and systems simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Receive checking and savings deposits; verify cash and endorsements, issue receipts.
Examine checks deposited and determine funds availability.
Process savings withdrawals and cash checks with proper identification.
Identify counterfeit currency and ensure compliance with regulations.
Cross-sell bank products and services and refer complex issues to the proper department.
Balance drawer daily and maintain currency logs.
