Job summary

FirstBank PR is seeking a Service Representative (Teller) to handle daily transactions and assist customers with products and services.

You will balance cash, process deposits and withdrawals, and refer banking solutions while complying with BSA/AML policies.

Strong communication, organizational skills, and willingness to work holidays and weekends are required; bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year of experience in sales or customer service.
• Minimum 24 credits toward associate or bachelor’s degree, or banking-related coursework preferred.
• Excellent communication and written skills.
• Fully bilingual preferable.
• Computer literacy in MS Office and banking tools.
• Available to work holidays, weekends, and flexible schedules.
• Organized, detail oriented and able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Process monetary transactions such as check changing, money orders, deposits and withdrawals.
• Perform debit/credit entries through teller system or manually when needed.
• Maintain security measures and report irregularities and suspicious transactions.
• Balance cash and perform end-of-day closing per timetable.
• Refer customers to banking products and services.
• Educate customers on alternative channels (mobile app/online banking/ATMs).
• Assist branch and other departments on special projects.
