Northeast Bank is seeking a customer-focused Bank Teller to be the first point of contact for customers visiting a Banking Center in Auburn, ME. You will accurately process transactions and provide basic account information to help customers with their needs.

You will also identify opportunities to refer customers to other products and specialists, participate in promotions, and maintain accuracy in cash drawers and vaults.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in banking, retail services, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent mathematical skills.
• Proven computer literacy and proficiency with office equipment.
• Excellent customer service, tact, and diplomacy when dealing with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Process retail and commercial financial transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, checks).
• Provide basic account information (balances, due dates, activity).
• Know bank products/services to make suitable recommendations.
• Proactively refer customers to deposits/loans and product specialists.
• Support sales campaigns and balance cash drawer and vault as required.
• Assist customers with access to safety deposit boxes and route inquiries appropriately.
• Represent the bank professionally to customers and coworkers and help meet branch sales goals.
