Job summary

Kennebec Savings Bank is seeking a Teller to provide friendly, accurate service at our Augusta, ME branch. You will handle a wide range of transactions, promote bank products, and ensure compliance with policies while maintaining precise cash records.

The successful candidate will have strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior cash handling and basic computer proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with banking products and systems a plus.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous service to branch customers at the teller line or drive-up windows.
• Process deposits and withdrawals (including night bags) per procedures.
• Receive loan, mortgage, and club payments.
• Cash checks and sell money orders and Treasurer’s checks.
• Assist customers with safe deposit box access.
• Comply with bank policies and refer complex questions to Front Line Manager or Supervisor.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer and documentation.
