Job summary

TBK Bank, SSB is seeking a customer-focused Teller to process transactions accurately and in line with bank policies. You will profile customers, open accounts, and refer to appropriate departments to help meet branch goals.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, and six to twelve months of teller experience; strong customer service and cross-selling skills are preferred. Compensation is hourly with medical, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Six to twelve months of bank teller experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and accurate financial transactions in accordance with the Bank’s policies and procedures.
• Profile new and existing customers, suggesting tailored products and services.
• Provide exceptional customer service, exceeding expectations.
• Open new accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely documentation.
• Assist with stop payments, debit card orders, and other routine customer requests.
• Take initiative to resolve customer issues and provide prompt feedback.
• Help maintain customer goodwill and contribute to branch goals.
• Refer customers professionally to appropriate bank departments.
• Safeguard customer information, adhere to regulations, and maintain security.
• Process transactions while maintaining accurate records.
• Participate in local community and bank-sponsored events.
