Mechanics Bank is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our on-site team. You will perform basic to moderately complex banking transactions, deliver high-quality service, and assist customers with inquiries and product referrals.

Responsibilities include cash handling, balancing cash, and following all policies and regulatory guidelines. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential in this role at our California-based bank.

Qualificações

• 1 year experience in a banking environment preferred.
• 1 year in customer service and cash handling in a customer-facing role required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine teller transactions and assist clients with deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, payments, transfers, and mail/night drop items.
• Provide exemplary customer service in person and by phone, explain rates, services, and banking products.
• Maintain cash balance accuracy and adhere to cash handling policies; monitor for red flags and refer more complex issues to Branch Management.
