Mechanics Bank is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our on-site team in California. You will perform routine teller transactions, service clients, and balance cash while ensuring compliance with Bank policies.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a banking environment with basic knowledge of bank deposit products and services preferred.
• 1 year in customer service and cash handling experience in a customer facing role required.

Responsabilités

• Performs routine teller transactions and works directly with clients, processing deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, payments, transfers and mail/night drop items.
• Provides exemplary customer service in person and over the phone, explains rates and services, and promotes banking products.
• Maintains cash balancing and adheres to bank policies and security guidelines.
• Gathers data and processes reports to ensure compliance with Bank policies and regulatory programs.
