Job summary

First Merchants Bank is seeking a Service Associate (Teller) to join our team. You will provide high quality customer service by accurately and efficiently completing bank transactions and suggesting products to meet customers’ financial needs.

You will balance cash, support sales, and assist with opening/closing the banking center while ensuring compliance and privacy. A HS diploma and some related experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 3 months of sales, cash handling, or related experience requested.
• Strong customer service and communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by handling banking transactions and resolving inquiries.
• Balance cash, process daily transactions, and follow security procedures to protect customer info.
• Sell bank products, make referrals, and support sales goals with knowledge of offerings.
• Assist with opening and closing banking center and keep accurate records.
