NewFirst is seeking a Front Line Teller/Bank Associate to support tellering duties and customer service at the Texas branch. You will assist Personal Bankers, perform all teller transactions, and help grow the customer base through cross-selling and product knowledge.

You will open night deposits, process deposits and loan payments, answer customer questions, and balance cash with accuracy under branch requirements. Training will be provided and daytime hours apply.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months to one year heavy cash handling experience preferred.
• Completion of teller training program.
• Be familiar with bank products and services.
• Previous sales or retail experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist Personal Bankers and Head Teller in aggressively soliciting new loan and deposit accounts/relationships.
• Perform all paying and receiving teller functions.
• Open night deposit vaults daily and receive/process night deposit bags.
• Provide backup for Personal Bankers when busy or out of the bank.
• Handle account maintenance and respond to customer inquiries.
