Job summary

The Bank & Trust is seeking a punctual Teller to handle deposits, withdrawals, and various transactions, delivering exceptional customer service. The role requires accuracy, cash handling, and adherence to banking regulations in a busy branch environment.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or equivalent, basic math skills, and experience with Microsoft Office and Jack Henry Silverlake. Bilingual English/Spanish abilities are a plus, and prior cash-handling experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent or currently enrolled in school.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in computers and Microsoft Office, including Teams.
• Mathematical Skills: Basic mathematical proficiency, including the ability to perform calculations accurately and efficiently.
• Data Analysis: Ability to read, count, and handle money with precision.
• Typing Skills: Ability to type and use 10-key by touch.
• Organizational Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong prioritization skills.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits and withdrawals accurately and efficiently.
• Balance and reconcile cash drawer; report discrepancies.
• Provide outstanding customer service and support bank needs.
• Adhere to state and federal regulations and bank policies (BSA-AML).
