TEKsystems is hiring a Bank Teller for a Fortune 100 Financial Institution in Schaumburg, IL. This contract, fully onsite role is based at 1408 North Meacham Road, Streamwood/ Schaumburg area, with full-time hours and weekend availability.

The role requires 1–3 years of cash handling and strong communication skills. High School Diploma is mandatory, and banking experience is preferred. Benefits and competitive pay are offered for this onsite position.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of cash handling experience in in-person customer service, retail, and banking industry.
• Bank Teller experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone and via email.
• High School Diploma is required.

TEKsystems is currently hiring a Bank Teller to start with a Fortune 100 Financial Institution!

Branch Location: 1408 North Meacham Road, Schaumburg, Illinois, 60173, United States

Job Description:

• To provide members and prospective members the full range of products and services offered by the client including depository accounts such as checking, savings, certificate IRA, revocable trust and estate accounts; Lending products; and credit/debit cards.

• To perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision.

• Analyze, research and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts/loans

• Assist members with submitting consumer/mortgage/equity loan, overdraft protection and credit card applications

• Counsel current and prospective members about company products and services

• Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properly

• Identify opportunities to cross service products and increase product penetration

• Perform platform banking functions

Experience:

• 1-3 years of cash handling experience in in-person customer service, retail, and banking industry

• Bank Teller experience is preferred but not required.

• Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone and via email.

• High School Diploma is required.

Schedule:

• Full-time/ 40 hours per week

• MUST be available between Monday-Friday: 8:00am-6:00pm, Saturday: 8:00am-2:30pm

• Could be expected to work 2-3 Saturdays a month depending on business need

This is a Contract position based out of Streamwood, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.42 - $21.42/hr.
